![]() ![]() Cassandra Ward, a partner at Stern Kilcullen & Rufolo LLC, focuses her practice on estate planning, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship, and elder law. She counsels individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners in developing comprehensive estate plans, administering estates and trusts, and navigating complex wealth transfer and incapacity planning matters. Prior to joining Stern Kilcullen & Rufolo, Cassandra served as a Senior Associate Attorney with a boutique trusts and estates firm in Palm Beach County, where she advised clients on complex estate planning, multijurisdictional planning strategies, trust and probate administration, guardianship, and asset protection planning. She worked closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement coordinated planning solutions and mentored junior attorneys and support staff to ensure exceptional client service. Before transitioning her practice to trusts and estates, Cassandra spent more than a decade advocating for children and families through the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. As head of the Children's Wellness Project, she advocated for youth in long-term foster care and led a team committed to protecting children's rights. While at the Legal Aid Society, the project was recognized as "Outstanding Law Office" by the National Association of Counsel for Children (2021) and "Outstanding Champion for Children" by Florida's Children First (2023). Her extensive courtroom and litigation experience strengthened the practical, compassionate approach she now brings to helping clients navigate significant life decisions and family transitions. Cassandra earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Miami, where she concentrated in both Business Law, and International Finance. Cassandra is also deeply involved and dedicated to her community and the legal profession. She serves on the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Probate & Guardianship Committee, is a member of the Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court, and participates in the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar. Cassandra's commitment to leadership and service extends beyond the office, and she is an active mentor through the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business Mentorship Academy. ![]() |
